Gavin Rixon is a senior engineering professional with over 35 years experience in delivering large-scale projects in sectors such as oil & gas, infrastructure and industrial worldwide, including United States, Indonesia, India, Malaysia, UAE and African countries.
He is currently leading a US$320m project delivery of a 36,000MT/month 77.5-hectare sugar refinery project in Tanzania, with scope encompassing EPC delivery and technical specifications development. His experience includes oil and gas field development and production projects, jetty projects, and design audit for energy solutions.
Prior to being the CEO of GTL, he worked as a commercial manager in an international prominent EPC company and as a lead consultant in an Indian communication company.
