Key People: Joel Hogarth & Kirk Evans
Joel is a former Group CEO of an Indonesian financial services group comprising of life insurance, general insurance, securities, asset management, multifinance and banking. He has strong operational experience in the financial services sector, and has represented many financial services clients as a lawyer and corporate finance advisor.
Kirk also has experience running the Indonesian operations of environmental and commodity funds.
Energy and Sustainability
Key Person: Kirk Evans
Kirk has over 30 years' experience in the energy and sustainability sectors, having headed up the Indonesia offices of clean energy focused private equity fund, Syndicatum. Kirk is currently acting as advisor to an environmental developer of sustainable peatland for carbon capture, and a plastic to energy joint venture.
Aviation

Joel has acted for lease finance companies in bankruptcy and insolvency proceedings, including the repossession of two aircraft for International Lease Finance Corporation in the bankruptcy of Batavia Air.
Retail and E-commerce
Key Person: Richard Hogarth
Richard has over 30 years' experience in the retail industry, with high profile directorships comprising of Merchandising Director for electronics retailer Tandy Radio Shack in the UK, which was acquired by Carphone Warehouse; Guilbert Niceday, which was acquired by Staples Inc.; and online auction site QXL.com, which was acquired by ebay.com.
On the financial side, Joel has acted for investors on a number of major tech players, including Gojek, Tokopedia and Traveloka and on the corporate restructuring of handphone retailer Trikomsel.
Plantations
Key People: Howard Sargeant & Joel Hogarth
Howard has over 40 years' plantation experience in Indonesia, and has acted as CEO of major plantation companies owned by Sinar Mas Group and Bakrie Group.
Following his corporate roles, Howard has advised on plantation valuations, acquisition and turn-around situations.
Joel has worked on a significant number of plantation acquisitions.
